To promote your education, we have arranged online teaching and learning. It’s a new experience for both you and me. Online is a virtual world. I am inviting you all to watch my blog time to time. You will get update from me about your JSC English. Today I am posting a dialogue from your JSC syllabus. It will improve your writing skill. You must go through the lesson.

A dialogue between two friends about the bad effects of smoking.

Hasib   : Good morning, Hamim.

Hamim : Good morning, Hasib.

Hasib   : How are you, Hamim?

Hamim: Thanks, I am pretty well. What about you?

Hasib   : Thanks, I am also hale and hearty. Just a minute…. What’s the smell coming here?

Hamim: It’s the smell of smoking. Probably someone is smoking nearby us.

Hasib   : Smoking! Oh my God! It’s too bad!

Hamim: By the way, do you know the bad effects of smoking?

Hasib   : Yes, I know this well. I read an article about this in the newspaper a few days ago.

Hamim: Could you tell me please about the bad effects of smoking?

Hasib   : Oh, sure. Smoking causes many fatal diseases. It also affects the lung of the smokers.

Hamim: As smoking is bad, why do many people smoke all over the world?

Hasib   : They smoke because they don’t understand the bad effects of smoking. Sometimes they think that smoking makes them smart.

Hamim: It’s a false notion. People hate smokers. Besides, smoking is the beginning of drug   addiction.

Hasib   : Exactly you are right.

Hamim: Nobody should smoke. It is a hatred and heinous activity. We should make people  aware of this.

Hasib   : Definitely right. I also think so.

Hamim: I am in a hurry and so I need to go now.

Hasib: Thank you very much.

Hamim: That’s alright. See you later.

Home Task: After going through, you must write this answer to your exercise book. After the sine die,we must check your home task and give you marks.)
